A tradition of comfort

In 1883, the first travellers aboard Orient-Express discovered—much to their surprise—that one could travel by train in an environment of luxury never before achieved. Suddenly, the impossible became reality: sleeping cars designed like hotel rooms where one could cross Europe in two weeks without getting tired.
